CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

Job Title Principle Responsibilities Operate machine and secondary equipment Closely monitors tool life and performs setup/teardown when needed Mounts fixtures and workpieces in accordance with schedule Load and return proper goods to respective locations within staging area Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or supervisor Maintain high level of 5S across entire work station and surrounding area Ability to clearly communicate to other team members, especially shift changeovers and handoffs Perform inspection of machined products and complete all electronic documentation Adheres to the company's safety policies and procedures Collaborate with programming team to continuously improve machining methods and processes Perform all other duties as assigned Skills Required Intermediate computer knowledge Must be able to interpret models, perform basic mathematic calculations, and use hand held measuring tools and equipment Physical strength must be able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are up to 40 pounds Understanding of company quality and safety standards Knowledgeable of mold base assembly and components CAD/CAM knowledge Solidworks/Camworks experience preferred Education High School Diploma or GED Work Experience Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience preferred Privacy Notice for California Residents P.C.S.
