Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Asheville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will apply strong communication and customer service skills while documenting observations and responding to site needs. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
