TO GO SPECIALIST

Job Title

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional To-Go experience for every guest – from taking both phone and walk-in orders, ringing the orders in the Point of Sale system, packaging the items, cashing the guest out and ensuring all orders are on-time and accurate.

Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere

Suggestively sells appetizer, entrée and dessert menu items by offering specifics and using descriptive mouthwatering adjectives when describing each item

Understands and accurate uses the POS (point of sale) system to clock-in/out, to process/input orders and complete end of shift procedures

Qualifications and Skills

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age

Previous To-Go, Host or restaurant experience preferred

Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required

English language and professional communication skills are required

Ability to work in a team environment

Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized

Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge

Physical Demands

Mobility required during the entire shift

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length

Ability to lift food bags and trays weighing up to 20 pounds
