Design/Sales Consultant

What You'll Do

• Greet customers warmly and professionally
• Consult on style, needs, and budget — guiding customers through the showroom and explaining features, financing options, warranties, and promotions
• Process sales orders accurately, coordinate special orders with vendors, and schedule deliveries
• Follow up after delivery to make sure everything is right, personally assisting with service orders if anything needs attention
• Send handwritten thank-you notes to customers after their purchase
• Maintain your assigned showroom section daily so merchandise stays clean, tagged, and well-displayed
• Occasionally assist with tent sales or help load merchandise for customer pickups

What We're Looking For

We care more about your drive, communication skills, and personality than a long resume in furniture sales. If you have a passion for helping people, we'll train you on the rest.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication skills and a professional, welcoming presence
• Customer service, hospitality, or retail experience preferred but not required
• Flexibility for a rotating retail schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting, carrying, or pushing up to 50 lbs. to assist with customer pickups

Your Earning Potential

We set you up for success from day one. New Design Consultants begin at $18.00 per hour during a structured paid training program of up to 4 months. If you're ready to move to commission sooner, you can — the choice is yours. This flexibility gives you the time and support to learn our products, proven sales techniques, and customer experience standards at your own pace.

Once on commission, your success directly impacts your income:

• Average annual earnings: $50,000–$75,000+
• Top performers: $90,000+, with some earning six figures
• Uncapped — no ceiling on what you can earn
