Material Handler

Location: Buford, GA 30519

Work Schedule:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM, Monday–Friday
2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday

Pay Rate:

1st Shift: $14.00/hour
2nd Shift: $14.50/hour

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse and production support activities. This position involves physical material handling, sorting, staging, packaging, equipment movement, and basic computer/data-entry tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Package, unpackage, sort, stage, and prepare units for production.
Put away and pull equipment and/or parts.
Perform basic data entry into systems using a PC .
Maintain satisfactory quality and productivity performance levels.
Work effectively in a high-speed, high-volume environment.
Meet or exceed daily production goals of 80% or higher .
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding material-handling tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse/production environment.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate applications such as Microsoft Office .
Basic data-entry skills.
Ability to work flexible assignments and move between different areas of the facility as needed.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
