The Opportunity

• Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
• One (1) year of EM experience is preferred but will consider a new grad with multiple EM rotations.
• Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are preferred.
• Current IN state license is a plus.
• Providers will be cross credentialed at Methodist Hospital Northlake and Southlake Campuses.
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.

The Practice - A Dual-Hospital System

Methodist Hospital, Southlake Campus - Merrillville, Indiana

Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus - Gary, Indiana

• 400-bed hospital with 28-bed Emergency Department.
• Annual ED volume of 36,000 with a 20% admit rate.
• All core sub-specialty backup available excluding ophthalmology.
• Multiple cath lab and OR suites as well as Intervention Radiology.
• Comprehensive Stroke Center; patients requiring thrombectomy get transferred.
• Methodist Hospitals ranked #1 in Indiana for Racial Inclusivity.
