Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Management Specialist in Dulles, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a government location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, and provide helpful communication in a professional, customer-focused environment. You will help maintain a secure and welcoming entry point while supporting daily operations through reliable service and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.85 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 07:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 07:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You\'ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Staff the front desk and monitor entry activity, verify visitor identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records. Receive and direct visitors, answer incoming calls, provide general facility information, and communicate professionally with authorized personnel and responding agencies. Monitor security-related systems, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and completing required reports. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
