Service Dispatcher – HVAC/R

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Service Dispatcher to join a well-established HVAC/R service company. This is a great opportunity for an organized, dependable professional who is comfortable coordinating field technicians, communicating with customers, and keeping a busy service department running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily service calls for HVAC/R field technicians
• Dispatch technicians based on service needs, location, and availability
• Communicate directly with customers regarding service calls, scheduling, and updates
• Enter and update service information accurately within the company’s service management system
• Maintain accurate technician schedules and service records
• Update and review timesheets for weekly payroll
• Communicate effectively with field service technicians, office staff, and management
• Assist with changes to the daily schedule and help resolve scheduling conflicts
• Maintain organized and accurate records
• Perform additional administrative and dispatching duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous service dispatching experience is required
• HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical service, or similar industry experience is strongly preferred
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and tactful when communicating with customers by phone
• Ability to work effectively with field technicians and office personnel
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Compensation

$25.00 per hour, with consideration given to experience and skill level.

This position offers the potential to transition from a temporary assignment into a permanent role for the right candidate.
