Qualifications & Expertise:
- Active South Carolina Special Education (SPED) licensure
- Experience with K-8 students in multi-categorical programs is strongly preferred
- Comfortable with IEP implementation, differentiation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for parent and staff collaboration
- Willing to meet district onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting
What You’ll Do:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students across a range of abilities
- Develop and implement IEPs and support learning goals tailored to each student
- Track progress, complete necessary documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Foster a compassionate, structured, and engaging classroom environment
