Qualifications & Expertise:

• Active South Carolina Special Education (SPED) licensure
• Experience with K-8 students in multi-categorical programs is strongly preferred
• Comfortable with IEP implementation, differentiation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for parent and staff collaboration
• Willing to meet district onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting

What You’ll Do:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students across a range of abilities
• Develop and implement IEPs and support learning goals tailored to each student
• Track progress, complete necessary documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Foster a compassionate, structured, and engaging classroom environment
