FP&A + Operations Analyst

FP&A + Operations Analyst (Japanese/English Bilingual)We are looking for a Japanese-English Bilingual FP&A + Operations Analyst for a San Francisco-based law firm serving mainly Japanese-speaking clients. This position is primarily to provide coverage during an employee's maternity leave (expected Aug 23 – Jan 23), with the possibility of converting to a permanent role after the initial assignment. This is a standalone, hands-on position owning the firm's full-cycle accounting (AP/AR, billing, payroll reporting, month-end close) as well as client trust (IOLTA) accounting and outsourced bookkeeping for a portfolio of business clients. The ideal candidate is a self-directed accounting professional with strong QuickBooks skills, solid reconciliation experience, and ideally, a background in law-firm trust accounting and multi-entity work.Essential DutiesInternal Accounting: Full-cycle firm accounting (AP/AR, billing, payroll reporting, month-end close).Client & Trust Accounting: Client trust (IOLTA) accounting and outsourced bookkeeping for business clients.Working Hours, Working StyleFlexible hours / Full-time or Part-time Expected: Aug 23 – Jan 23Working LocationIn-office (San Francisco, CA) at least a hybrid mix of one or two days in the office.Salary, Benefit NegotiableHolidays Saturdays, Sundays, holidaysQualificationsLanguage: Bilingual (Japanese & English)Skills: Strong QuickBooks skills and solid reconciliation experience.Preferred Experience: Law-firm trust (IOLTA) accounting and multi-entity experience.
