Mobile Phlebotomist, PRN

We are currently seeking Health Screeners to join our team in Louisville, KY. Mobile Phlebotomist, PRN Requisition Number 40152 – Job Location Louisville, Kentucky About the role: These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies. What We Offer Competitive compensation Flexible schedule, event-based employment (must have Monday-Friday morning availability) Mileage reimbursement Fast-paced, team environment Essential Job Functions Perform and record biometric testing results including height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI. Perform blood testing, including fingerstick and/or venipuncture draws in a fast-paced environment. Prepare specimens for storage or additional processing. Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric stations. Travel and transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.). Maintain logs and records for laboratory transactions in accordance with departmental and regulatory requirements. Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment. Other duties as assigned. Education Minimum high school diploma or GED. Current national certification in phlebotomy from a Premise Health-approved organization, or one of the following: Certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited phlebotomy program with a completed hands-on externship. Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year, or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture draws within the last 6 months. Active state-specific phlebotomy certification required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA, WA, and LA. Experience Preferred: 1 year of health screening or phlebotomy experience. Knowledge and Skills Outstanding customer service skills. Punctual, responsible, and able to work with limited supervision. Professional demeanor and appearance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proof of professional credentialing. Available to work a PRN, event-driven position. Pass a full background check. Reliable transportation. Computer/internet savvy. Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations (preferred). Ability to work independently and safely in accordance with safety and organizational policies and procedures.
