Gymnastics Instructor Do you love gymnastics, working with kids, and being active? We're looking for a gymnastics experienced, energetic, and dependable instructor to join our team. You don't have to know The Little Gym's curriculum yet we'll train you on our teaching methods but we do want someone who already has a strong foundation in gymnastics and feels comfortable teaching and demonstrating gymnastics skills. What You'll Do Teach gymnastics based classes for children ages 3 years through 12 years using The Little Gym's proven curriculum and teaching methods. Use your gymnastics knowledge to safely demonstrate, spot, and teach age appropriate skills. Create a warm, fun, and encouraging environment where every child feels successful. Give each child the attention and encouragement they need to build confidence and learn new skills. Treat every class and every child as if it's their first day EVERY WEEK! Provide an outstanding customer and membership experience. We treat our members like family here. Keep the gym clean, organized, safe, and ready for the next class. Be an active part of the team by helping with events, camps, birthday parties, and other gym activities as needed. You'd Fit In Here If You have previous gymnastics experience as a gymnast, coach, instructor, or similar role. You love working with kids and genuinely enjoy watching them learn and grow. You're energetic, enthusiastic, and comfortable being silly, getting on the floor, and playing like a kid. You're comfortable demonstrating gymnastics skills and physically assisting children when needed. You understand that parents are just as important as the kids. You can communicate professionally and make families feel welcomed and valued. You're dependable, coachable, and willing to jump in wherever you're needed. You love having fun, but you also know when it's time to buckle down and get the job done. You were voted most likely to be in a good mood by your high school classmates.
