Job Responsibilities Schedule production jobs according to inventory management guidelines and ensure inventory levels are within target, making adjustments and modifications as priorities change due to customer demand Interface with material handle and engineering personnel to ensure smooth operations and drive timely root cause resolution Ensure all MDI safety and quality policies are strictly adhered to operations. Review, correct (audit) material transactions Responsible for record keeping including time & attendance and training Instill and maintain a positive, engaged and accountable team culture Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing throughput, improving quality, reducing downtime, and optimizing labor utilization through standard work and process improvements Leverage data interpretation to achieve closure on initiatives Ability to take direction, accept responsibility, provide direction to others and lead by example Requirements Focused individual with ability to make real time decisions with an eye for detail Positive attitude and professional demeanor with demonstrated leadership Strong verbal, written and organizational skills 6+ yrs experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment Ability to learn and use various computer programs and systems Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
