About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to join its senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be a mission-driven executive with a strong background in construction, operations, and development, particularly in the context of nonprofit and community-driven environments. This role is pivotal in leading all construction and economic development operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective homes that align with the organization's mission. Key responsibilities include providing strategic and operational leadership, overseeing construction and operations management, and fostering a culture of safety, volunteer engagement, and community impact. The VP of Construction will also be responsible for financial management, team development, and establishing and maintaining partnerships with various stakeholders. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have a deep commitment to the mission of building homes, communities, and hope. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in construction, operations, or development, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing budgets, contracts, and complex projects, as well as experience in leading and developing high-performing teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction/project management systems is necessary. The role demands a leader with strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
