About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance and Risk Management to take on a pivotal role in shaping and building the organization's financial and risk strategy. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, strategically minded finance leader with a clear path toward future executive leadership. Key responsibilities for this role include overseeing financial reporting and regulatory compliance, leading a team of finance professionals, and contributing to enterprise-wide financial strategy initiatives. The role also involves board engagement, executive communication, and operational transition, making it essential for the candidate to have a strong background in financial and risk management within the property and casualty insurance industry. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance and Risk Management position at the company must have a CPA certification, with additional insurance designations being a plus. Progressive leadership experience in finance, risk, and accounting within the property and casualty insurance sector is a fundamental requirement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and financial planning and analysis, as well as experience in capital modeling, reinsurance, and enterprise risk management.
