Job TitlePay Range: $19.85hr - $21.26hrRequirement/Must HaveAbility to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.High school diploma or equivalent is required.Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).Minimum of 6 months experience required.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.Keyboard and data entry experience is required.ResponsibilitiesRepresent the organization to patients as the primary point of contact for health routines and health decisions.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients.Perform blood specimen collection in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices.Maintain required records and documentation.Promote a positive image to patients, employees, and the public.Nice To HaveOne+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.SkillsPhlebotomy.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Specimen Processing.Data Entry.Customer Service.Qualification And EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy Certification.
