Payer Contracting Specialist

To accelerate payer contracting efforts, the full-time remote Payer Contracting Specialist will manage provider data integrity, audit payer directories, and support contracting and credentialing processes. Key responsibilities Own provider data integrity across all systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy of payer records Audit provider appearances in payer directories and pursue necessary corrections for visibility Research and interpret payer policies, documenting requirements and resolved escalations for future reference Required qualifications 2+ years of experience in provider data management, revenue cycle, or healthcare administration Self-directed with the ability to manage tasks independently and follow up proactively Strong analytical skills focused on identifying root causes of issues Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in provider data submissions Comfortable communicating with payers and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Virtual Vocations Inc
