What You’ll Bring Candidates should possess the ability to: Read and write English, interact with the general public and co‑workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Basic PC/Outlook skills Retail Management Certificate Key Responsibilities The Part‑time Retail Associate performs management‑assigned duties, which may include but may not be limited to stocking, maintaining a store section, carrying out services, and cleaning the store. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Maintain assigned store sections and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment). Ensure proper pricing on merchandise, check product date codes, and maintain rotation on shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed. Set up advertising/promotional displays. Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot. Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers by providing current store and product information. Assist customers in loading purchases into their vehicles when requested. Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
