This part-time opportunity invites you to use your expertise with students in early childhood education while working closely with PreK and Kindergarten caseloads. You’ll play a vital role in guiding children through important learning milestones and supporting their individualized needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Special Education teaching certification
• Louisiana Early Intervention (Birth-5) Certificate preferred (candidates without this certificate are also encouraged to apply)
• Demonstrated strength in special education procedures and IEP development
• Experience with PreK and Kindergarten curriculum and instructional strategies
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, nurturing classroom environments
• Strong skills in communication, organization, and collaboration

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to PreK/Kindergarten students with diverse needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with school staff, related service professionals, and families to promote student growth
• Create positive, engaging learning experiences tailored to each child
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all special education regulations
• Participate in regular team meetings, professional development, and family consultations
