• Required Qualifications:
  • BSN Degree
  • Valid license to submit (must be submitted at application)
  • BLS Certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience
  • Drivers license required at submittal, used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles of the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required only if staffing is critical, which is very rare, and only to sit or perform tasks, not for patient care
• Additional Information:
  • RTO (Request for Time Off) must be provided upfront for 7 or fewer days within the 13-week contract; additional RTO will not be approved after submission
  • Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts if the assignment is less than 13 weeks
  • The unit is recognized as Blue Distinction + for high patient care and experience scores
  • No telemonitoring or specialized equipment beyond standard troubleshooting is required from RNs
  • This position is at a facility operating in accordance with AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios: 1:3 and 1:1 for laboring patients
  • The unit primarily handles obstetrics, postpartum, antepartum, post-surgical GYN, and patients with HTN or diabetes
