Revenue Auditor

Seeking a detail‑driven professional! Our Revenue Auditor is responsible for accurately recording daily audits and supporting efficient, seamless financial operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :

• Responsible for verification of accuracy and reconciliation of previous day’s departmental revenue activities.

• Thorough review and follow up of necessary revenue center generated report data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Implement and monitor compliance with all policies and procedures, regulations, and controls of the company.

• Assists with the monitoring of all financial activities on property, with respect to Revenue Accounting, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the company, the Federal and State Tax Commissions, and the NYS Commercial Gaming Commission are enforced throughout the Revenue Accounting Department.

• Evaluates various situations, with respect to Revenue Audits, and determines how best to handle same.

• Ensures a maximum level of company-wide service and satisfaction, in the area of Revenue Accounting, is achieved and maintained.

• Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings and conducting revenue/internal audit follow up.

• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.

• Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

• Develops and maintains financial spreadsheets on computer to be used for necessary reporting to appropriate entities.

• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associates Degree in Accounting Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess effective communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Experience with audits preferred. Must be extremely numbers-oriented, detailed, and computer-literate, with superior spreadsheet skills, proficiency in applicable software highly preferred. Ability to work on special projects in a group or independent setting.
