Shipping and Receiving SpecialistJoin our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in processing incoming freight, verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders, and safely packaging outbound equipment for field or retail clients. You will also monitor stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and conduct both daily and annual physical cycle counts, ensuring a clean, PCI-compliant, and secure work environment.ResponsibilitiesProcess incoming freight and verify accuracy against purchase orders.Safely package outbound equipment for field or retail clients.Monitor stock levels of terminals, cables, and parts using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Conduct daily and annual physical cycle counts.Maintain a clean, PCI-compliant, and secure work environment according to safety standards.Essential SkillsProficiency in shipping and receiving operations.Experience with RF scanners and pallet jacks.Competency in Microsoft Office and data entry.Inventory management and tracking skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with inventory software.Shipping experience with FedEx and UPS.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Capability to work well with others.Strong data integrity skills.Ability to work on feet for the entire shift.Why Work Here?As part of a growing organization, you will have the opportunity to learn different roles within the company, enhancing your skill set and advancing your career.Work EnvironmentEnjoy working in a temperature-controlled environment with standing desks. You will be on the computer 85% of the day, and the work hours are from 9am to 6pm.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
