Medical Assistant – OB/GYN Practice (Buckhead, GA)

We are a growing OB/GYN practice in the heart of Buckhead, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Our team is committed to excellence, collaboration, and creating a welcoming environment for every patient. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview

The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our physicians and ensuring high-quality patient care. This individual will assist with clinical procedures, handle patient inquiries, perform triage, and manage key administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Triage patient calls to determine urgency and appropriate next steps for care

Conduct patient intake, including medical history documentation

Assist physicians with in-office procedures and patient care

Perform Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)

Provide clear and courteous communication with patients, families, and providers

Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures

Complete administrative tasks, including FMLA paperwork and medication requests

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in women’s health

Current Medical Assistant certification required

Experience with Epic is a must

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor
