Full-Time E-Commerce Manager—Davis Designs

Davis Designs is seeking a full-time E-Commerce Manager to oversee the daily operations, merchandising, and marketing of online home furnishings and accessories business. The E-Commerce Manager will play a key role in growing online business by maintaining a compelling website experience, managing product launches, executing digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring exceptional customer service from order placement through fulfillment. Responsibilities Manage and maintain the Davis Designs Shopify website on a daily basis. Upload new products, collections, and vendor assortments. Write and edit product descriptions and specifications. Update product imagery and ensure visual consistency across the website. Organize collections, categories, and navigation to improve customer experience. Monitor site performance and identify opportunities to increase conversions and sales. Order Management & Customer Service Process and fulfill customer orders. Coordinate drop shipping directly with vendors. Track shipments and proactively communicate with customers regarding order status. Resolve customer service inquiries and issues professionally and efficiently. Maintain accurate inventory and product availability information. Email Marketing & Digital Communications Create and distribute email newsletters and promotional campaigns. Develop content for seasonal launches, sales events, and new product introductions. Manage customer email lists and segmentation. Analyze email performance and recommend improvements. Research and identify new vendors, products, and collections that align with the Davis Designs aesthetic. Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and manufacturers. Help curate a distinctive and continually evolving online assortment. Content & Brand Management Coordinate product photography and imagery updates. Assist with website content updates and brand storytelling. Ensure all online content reflects the Davis Designs brand and design philosophy. Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing a Shopify-based e-commerce business. Strong working knowledge of Shopify, including product setup, merchandising, collections, and order management. Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently. Passion for interior design, home furnishings, antiques, textiles, and home accessories. Basic graphic design, photo editing, or content creation skills are a plus. Full-time position based in New York City. Must be available to work in person. Occasional support may be required at the Upper East Side retail store and design studio.
