Location: Alamogordo, NM

Start Date: 09/14/2026

End Date: 12/12/2026

Shift: 4 days, 10 hours/day (06:00-16:00)

Hours/Week: 40 hours/week

Employment Type: Full-time, travel assignment

Licenses/Certifications: RN License in NM, BLS, ACLS, PALS, Verbal CPI certification required

Experience: 1+ year in surgical nursing preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30/hr

Provide nursing care to surgical patients across specialties such as Orthopedic, General, Podiatry, GYN/OB (including C-sections), Pain Management, Urology, and Endoscopy

Apply and document the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Collaborate with physicians and staff to meet patient needs and ensure safety

Promote positive patient relationships and advocate for patient and family needs

Adhere to medication administration protocols and safety standards

Support hospital and department quality initiatives

Maintain clinical competency and stay updated on new procedures and skills

Required:

• RN license in New Mexico
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA)
• Verbal CPI certification or equivalent
• 1+ year of related nursing experience (preferred)

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Additional language skills and strong communication skills
