ShoreMet is a specialty chemical manufacturer for high purity copper chemicals for our customers in the manufacturing of their innovative, high-tech products. These products are used in many industrial applications, such as industrial catalysts, animal nutrients, wood preservation, surface plating, ceramic & glass additives, and mining applications. Position Requirements: · Responsible for leading the development, validation, and execution of analytical methods used to characterize raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Strong expertise with IC, PSA, ICP-OES, XRD instrumentation. This role ensures the accuracy, precision, and reliability of laboratory data while maintaining compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards. · The Senior Analytical Chemist provides technical leadership in troubleshooting complex analytical challenges, interpreting data, and supporting research, product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance initiatives. · This position mentors junior laboratory personnel, drives continuous process improvements, maintains advanced analytical instrumentation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet customer and business objectives. Qualifications & Skills Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry (Ph.D. preferred). Experience: 10+ years of hands-on industrial laboratory experience working with analytical instrumentation in a manufacturing environment (chemical preferred). Technical Skills: Deep expertise inchromatography, spectroscopy,data management software and safety compliance. Accurate analytical data development, analyzing results and reporting. Communications Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with a wide variety of audiences (operators, management, sales, contractors, etc.). Strong problem solving, team building and mentoring skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
