An excellent opportunity for a Mid/Snr level Project Finance Associate to join a top ranked law firm in New York.

\n

The team advises sponsors, lenders, investors and other stakeholders on complex domestic and cross-border project finance transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors, with exposure to conventional and renewable power, infrastructure and other major development projects.

\n

\n

The Role

\n

\n
• Advising sponsors, lenders, investors and other financial institutions on complex project finance transactions
\n
• Working on the financing and development of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects
\n
• Advising on conventional and renewable power projects, including solar, wind and other energy transition assets
\n
• Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, financing documents, security documents and related transaction documentation
\n
• Advising on project development, construction, acquisition and financing arrangements
\n
• Working on both domestic and cross-border transactions involving multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders
\n
• Supporting transactions from initial structuring through to closing
\n
• Working closely with clients, counterparties and other advisers throughout the transaction
\n
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's broader Energy, Infrastructure and Finance practices
\n

Candidate Profile

\n

\n
• 3+ years' experience in project finance or a closely related transactional practice
\n
• Experience advising sponsors, lenders, investors or financial institutions on project finance transactions
\n
• Strong experience across energy, infrastructure or related sectors preferred
\n
• Exposure to conventional and/or renewable power projects
\n
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with experience reviewing and negotiating complex financing documentation
\n
• Comfortable working on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions
\n
• Strong academic and professional credentials
\n
• New York Bar admission preferred
\n
• Commercially minded, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
\n
