Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Weekend-Only Contracts Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across assigned units, with floating expected to areas including CTICU, NICU, Pulmonary (H8A), and General/ED (Core)
• Deliver patient care in a fast-paced pediatric acute care environment
• Adapt to unit needs and patient acuity across multiple care settings as part of float requirements
• Maintain compliance with facility travel and credentialing standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio State RRT license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum of 2 references required at time of submittal; at least one reference must hold a manager or supervisor title (charge nurse references count as only one of the two)
• Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates
• Must be prepared to float to different units depending on assignment needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Close to 2 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Prior experience in CTICU, NICU, or pulmonary care settings
• Comfort working in high-acuity and varied clinical environments
