Store Manager – Westlake, OH Type: Full Time | Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 | Category: Retail Portland Leather Goods seeks a customer‑focused store manager to lead our new location in Westlake, OH. This full‑time role requires up to 40 hours per week, with weekend and peak season coverage as needed. Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, develop and motivate the team. Achieve sales volume and productivity goals through a strategic business plan. Coach teammates to deliver outstanding customer service and enforce merchandising standards. Manage inventory, maintain shrinkage goals, and oversee merchandise and advertising programs. Execute partnerships, events, and community outreach to drive customer acquisition. Maintain daily focus on customer‑first interactions, enforce store policies, and protect company interests. Handle customer complaints efficiently and courteously. Administer payroll, markdowns, and store expenses. Supervise all personnel and assist with store maintenance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or higher. Minimum 3 years of retail store operations and customer experience experience. Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and time/project management skills. Flexibility in scheduling and physical ability to manage merchandise, lift 30 lbs, and operate in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to read and interpret instructions, reports, and computer/register screens. Legal right to work in the U.S. and residency in same state as store location.
