Embark on a rewarding contract assignment providing physical therapy services in a vibrant K-12 educational setting near Brockton, MA. This role is ideal for a skilled Physical Therapist passionate about supporting students’ development and fostering positive outcomes in a collaborative school environment. You'll work two days per week, offering targeted interventions and helping create an inclusive atmosphere for students of varying abilities. The position is set to start ASAP and runs through June 16, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Massachusetts Physical Therapy (MA PT) license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with K-12 students, educators, and families
• Thorough understanding of pediatric physical therapy best practices

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students according to IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with special education teams and classroom staff to support student success
• Document services and progress in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student accommodations and modifications
• Educate families and staff about physical therapy interventions and carryover activities
