Job Title: RN 12.5 Hr Shift Location: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Department: Medical-Surgical Unit-I Requisition No.: 0000252878 Status: Hourly Pay Range: $47.85 - $60.60 per hour The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Qualifications Required: Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Successful completion of all Orientation Programs Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing Certifications and Licenses Required Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement Basic Life Support BLS from the American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements Full-Time Night shift Every other weekend is required 37.5 hrs weekly 12.5 hr shifts Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs Essential Functions The Registered Nurse RN organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care Supports philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
