Required Certifications and Licenses Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement BLS certification through American Heart Association Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Scheduling Requirements Day Shift – 7:00 am to 7:30 pm Every other weekend required. Weekly schedule will vary depending on department needs. Essential Functions The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. The Professional Nurse implements the hospital’s mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance improvement activities. Nurse care is individualized, age‑specific, and patient‑centered.
