Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence or CFY candidates considered
• Experience providing therapy in school-based settings
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices
• Ability to adapt strategies for a range of student abilities and ages

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students ages elementary through high school
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services individually and in groups, tailored to students’ specific needs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop student goals and maximize success
• Maintain thorough records of student progress according to district and state requirements
• Consult and problem-solve with educational teams across four buildings to coordinate care and transitions
