Maintenance Technician, Condominium

Legum and Norman is hiring an experienced residential Maintenance Technician for is condominium community in Alexandria. Daily tasks: Right hand person to Onsite manager. Subject Matter Expert in all things Maintenance. Bring ideas and solution to Onsite manager; establish routine, preventative, maintenance schedule. Walk and inspect property; fix and repair where needed. Review and prioritize maintenance requests. Perform general maintenance to include HVAC, drywall, paint plaster, patch, plumbing and electrical. Contact and coordinate with vendors and contractors onsite. Shared on-call, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergencies. Other duties as requested. Hourly pay rate: $25-$30. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. 2+ years of residential maintenance experience from the association, apartment, vacation rental, or hotel industries. Excellent communication skills, follow-up, follow-through. Proactive, takes ownership and initiative to maintain and repair property as needed. Punctual, on-time, reliable and dependable. Takes pride in their work Valid driver's licenses, clean driving record, and reliable transportation is required.
