Overview We are seeking experienced Casualty Claims Professionals and Property Damage Claims Professionals for part‑time and full‑time opportunities. Casualty Claims Specialist Responsible for investigating and settling automobile bodily‑injury claims, complex liability claims, and coverage‑related litigation. Duties & Responsibilities Review and determine the course of action for each file assigned, using technical knowledge to support the final disposition of a loss. Conduct thorough investigations and maintain accurate, relevant documentation of file activity, including coverage, liability status, and applicable damages. Process bodily‑injury and coverage claims in accordance with established office procedures. Work closely with third parties, plaintiff counsel, Claim Director, and Chief Operating Officer to determine necessary injury and coverage investigation. Research case and statutory law to conduct proper claim investigation. Document policy status, coverage, liability and damages on all claims and notify the re‑insurer on qualifying claims. Prepare and present claim evaluations for the appropriate settlement authority. Maintain reasonable expense factors. Handle other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of casualty claims experience. Knowledge of legal and medical terminology. Excellent negotiation, communication, written, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to pass written examinations required by state statutes to become a licensed claims adjuster. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Property Damage Claims Specialist Responsible for investigation, determination of coverage, and prompt evaluation of first and third‑party auto property‑damage claims to achieve courteous and economical resolution. Duties & Responsibilities Review and determine the course of action for each file assigned, using technical knowledge for final loss disposition. Conduct thorough investigations and document coverage, liability, status, and damages for each claim. Honor, decline, or negotiate first and third‑party liability claims after coverage/policy investigation and damages analysis. Work directly with internal and external customers to develop evidence and establish facts. Organize, plan, and prioritize work activities for timely claim resolution. Prepare and present claim evaluations for the appropriate settlement authority. Notify the Underwriting Department of adverse information uncovered during investigation. Be familiar with unfair claim practices in states where the company operates. Conduct business with vendors professionally while maintaining a reasonable expense factor and protecting the company’s reputation for quality service. Provide customer service to internal and external customers. Handle other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 2–3 years of previous auto insurance or other auto‑related experience. Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. General working knowledge of policies, file procedures, state rules and regulations.
