Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Title: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Location: Solon OH
Starting Pay: $20-24/hr
Direct Hire
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating paperwork of inbound/outbound materials, ensuring that all inbound materials are in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations and are properly logged.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Tracks shipments received at facility to be transported to another disposal location.
- Maintains accurate and updated inventory of all waste and reagents stored on site.
- Creates load composition for outbound shipments
- Generates shipping paperwork.
- Enters inbound shipments into the tracking database.
- Ensures that all discrepancies are identified and reported for proper resolution.
- Interacts with drivers delivering and picking up
- Ensures that all inbound receipts are submitted in a timely manner to comply with financial and month end deadlines.
- Ensures clear communication with internal operations, facilities and others in the normal course of business.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of receiving principles and practices.
- Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.
