Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our float team. This position requires flexibility to provide care across multiple locations as needed, primarily within critical care units focused on pediatric patients.

Job Details

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Shifts: Day/Night scheduled as straight days or straight nights

Shift Length: 12 hours, with scheduling from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Weekends: Every other

Responsibilities

As a Critical Care RN, you will:

Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Utilize the nursing process and adhere to professional nursing practices.
Perform independent nursing functions and collaborate with other health team members.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current RN license or temporary permit in Minnesota
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
A minimum of 18 months of experience in a PICU or pediatric CVICU setting, with demonstrated ability to care for pre-operative and post-operative surgical patients and trauma patients

Uniforms consist of royal blue scrub bottoms paired with a kid-friendly shirt or scrub top.
