The RN will deliver quality patient care by contributing to the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge. Specific responsibilities include: prepare assessment of patient's progress and keep physician and family informed, monitor pain management procedures, education of patient and family, lead the discharge-planning process, ensure current and accurate patient documentation, and delegate appropriately to ancillary staff members. This position requires providing nursing services to one or more age populations, including adult through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital.
