Radiologic Technologist, Day Shift, Full Time

Adventist Health Mendocino County, a 25‑bed critical access hospital located in Fort Bragg, is hiring for a Radiologic Technologist position (Job ID: 63738). Job Summary Operates x‑ray equipment to produce mandatory radiographs as ordered by physicians. This includes positioning and instructing patients, adjusting equipment settings, and determining proper exposure parameters. The role is represented by UFCW. Education and Experience Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred Licenses and Certifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT‑R): Required Radiologic Technician (RT) license in the state of practice: Required in CA and HI Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: Required Fluoroscopy state license: Required in CA within 6 months of hire Facility Specific Licenses Fluoroscopy (FLUORO): Required Essential Functions Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation; explains procedures to patients and answers questions. Prepares equipment and examination rooms for patient exams; positions patients for imaging exams. Monitors patient safety during exams and produces diagnostic images. Documents exam information, verifies exams on PACS, and reports important findings to the physician. Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
