Network Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Network Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This role is ideal for an experienced network professional who enjoys supporting mission-critical infrastructure, improving network performance, and strengthening enterprise security in a highly operational, technology-driven environment.

The Network Analyst will join a stable and well-established organization supporting critical communications and network systems. This position offers the opportunity to work with enterprise networking technologies, FortiGate security systems, VoIP platforms, LAN/WAN environments, and high-availability infrastructure. Candidates can expect a professional team environment, supportive leadership, opportunities for continued technical growth, and a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Support, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, core network systems, and LAN/WAN environments.
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, troubleshoot outages, and implement improvements to support reliability and uptime.
- Support FortiGate security systems, network access controls, multi-threat security tools, and network security best practices.
- Assist with VoIP, Unified VoIP, network communications, and related connectivity support.
- Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, technical changes, and support activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams and internal users to resolve issues, improve service delivery, and support critical network operations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary Range: $55,000 to $65,000 annually, based on experience.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and core network components.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance, security, reliability, and access controls.
- Support FortiGate security systems, multi-threat security environments, VoIP, Unified VoIP, LAN/WAN, and network communications.
- Collaborate with technical teams to document issues, resolve incidents, and support mission-critical network operations.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in network administration, network analysis, or enterprise network support.
- Professional networking certification or advanced networking training such as CCNA, CCNP, Routing and Switching, Network+, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of networking infrastructure, switches, routers, and core network components.
- Experience managing and supporting enterprise network environments.
- Strong understanding of FortiGate security systems and network security best practices.
- Knowledge of multi-threat security systems, including Level 1 and Level 2 support.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of VoIP and Unified VoIP technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, security protocols, and access control management.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with technical teams and internal users.

Preferred Qualifications

- CCNP or advanced networking certification.
- Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure, transportation, airport operations, aerospace and defense, or similarly regulated technical environments.
- Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls and enterprise network security tools.
- Experience improving network performance, strengthening security controls, and supporting high-availability communications environments.
