Job Title: Dietary Manager
Location: Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center – Port Clinton, OH

Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Manager to oversee our food and nutrition services department. This role is responsible for ensuring residents receive safe, nutritious, and appealing meals in accordance with physician orders, dietary guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Plan, organize, direct, and supervise all dietary department functions

• Ensure meals are nutritionally adequate, palatable, and meet individual resident needs and preferences.

• Implement and maintain menus approved by a Registered Dietitian

• Ensure compliance with ODH regulations

• Oversee food purchasing, storage, preparation, and service to maintain safe and sanitary conditions.

• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff.

• Ensure therapeutic diets are prepared according to physician orders and dietitian guidance.

• Maintain required documentation, including meal records and sanitation logs

• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality assurance activities.

• Ensure adequate food and supply inventory levels at all times.

• One of the following required:

  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential, or

  • Associate degree or higher in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or related field, or

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in dietary services in a healthcare or long-term care setting

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility.

• Experience with therapeutic diets and specialized nutrition programs

• Familiarity with electronic health records and dietary management systems.
