Physical Therapist

Position involves working primarily in an outpatient clinic setting. Some weekend coverage in an acute care setting required once a month. All requests for time off must be included with the submission. Facility has a policy that allows for one shift to be called off every two weeks. Potential requirement to work one holiday during the 13-week contract in rotation with staff. Virginia Physical Therapy license does not need to be in hand upon submission but can be applied for immediately upon offer. Previous experience in outpatient clinic and acute care settings is necessary. Clinical skills include adaptive devices, assessment, body mechanics, geriatrics, outpatient clinic techniques, and knowledge of various therapeutic procedures. Daily census includes managing 9-10 patients with 4-5 evaluations and treatments. Candidates must be willing to work one holiday during each assignment period, with some exceptions during winter holidays. Local candidates will not be accepted.
