Our portfolio spans baseboard, wall, unit, and infrared heaters, plus ceiling fans and air circulators designed for performance and reliability.Day in the lifePicture your morning walking the plant floor, prioritizing a handful of work orders. You’ll review schematics, gather parts, and then move from troubleshooting an HVAC air handler to inspecting a production machine. After lunch, you might rebuild a worn assembly, run new conduit, or weld a guard to improve safety. Before clock-out, you’ll document your work, estimate materials for an upcoming repair, and coach a teammate through proper lockout/tagout.Impact you’ll make (Role summary)Install, service, and repair machinery, equipment, building systems, and both piping and electrical infrastructure to keep our operations running smoothly.What you’ll take onMaintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, building structures, electrical wiring, and fixtures using blueprints and manuals.Fix and maintain windows, doors, and locking hardware.Inspect, clean, lubricate, and calibrate machinery and mechanical systems per the PM schedule.Diagnose faults and find defects in mechanical systems.Dismantle and reassemble machines and equipment to access and replace defective parts.Measure, cut, replace, repair, and install conduit, piping, and tubing for gas, air, water, ventilation, hydraulic, electrical lines, and plumbing.Install or swap electrical/plumbing equipment, wiring, and fixtures; fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, and similar structures.Complete non‑production painting as assigned.Operate plant equipment as needed to perform maintenance tasks.Perform electric arc welding for non‑production work when required.Install guards and safety devices within capability.Provide time and material estimates for maintenance work prior to execution.Assist in creating usage instructions for machinery and systems, including lockout/tagout, power-up/power-down steps, and calculations for CFM, voltage, wattage, and amperage requirements and loads.What you bringRequired1–3 months of related experience and/or training.High school diploma or GED (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).PreferredAccredited technical school coursework: Maintenance Electricity (3 terms), Hydraulics (2 terms), Pipefitting (2 terms), Industrial Maintenance Mechanics (1 term), Electric Arc Welding (1 term).Physical demands and work environmentRegularly stand, walk, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach, climb or balance, and stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl; talk or hear. Occasionally sit and taste or smell. Routinely lift/move up to 10 lbs; frequently up to 25 lbs. Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts; frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions, heights, outdoor weather, electrical shock risk, vibration; occasional exposure to fumes/airborne particles and toxic/caustic chemicals.
