Emergency Room Nurse (RN)

This is a travel nursing position in the Emergency Department with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work night shifts and be part of a cohesive team dedicated to delivering excellent emergency healthcare services.

Shift Details

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Scrub Color: Royal Blue

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 27 head spaces
Staffing: Total of 52 personnel including Charge Nurses and RNs
Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity
Equipment Type: Moderate to busy
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Qualifications

Required Skills: Must possess the following qualifications for consideration:

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Experience with Trauma, Stroke, and strong Sepsis skills

Preferred Skills: Candidates with the following experiences are prioritized:

Experience in Pediatric Emergency, Behavioral Health
Healthcare System Administration (HCA) experience

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - preferred
STABLE (Preterm and Neonatal Stabilization) - preferred
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) - preferred

General Guidelines

Strict attendance policies will be enforced.
Professional attire required, with minimal piercings and natural-colored hair.
Tattoos must be covered while at work.
