Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN): PCU

We are seeking an experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse to join our team in a progressive care unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cardiac catheterization, as well as a strong background in patient care.

About the Position

Type: Acute Travel Nursing Position
Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Shift: Day shift (7 AM to 7 PM)
Weekly orientation starts every Monday

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions; implement and update care plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families on care processes, treatments, and health management.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with a strong focus on cardiac care.
Cardiac catheterization experience is a mandatory requirement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Clearance Requirements

All candidates must complete the following clearances prior to starting:

Complete Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance.
Submit fingerprints for Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
Provide FBI Department of Aging fingerprints if required.
Obtain a PATCH clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police.
