Accountant

Overview The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely. Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain and update accounting records in accordance with GAAP. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Analyze financial data and prepare reports as needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
