Minimum Qualifications:

Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.

Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Not eligible for Telework.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

The Commission expects its employees to be courteous and respectful while assisting Commission customers and stakeholders, ensuring eachencounter is as positive as possible. Employees should promptly resolve questions or problems relating to the Commission, its programs, and/or fish andwildlife resources. Employees should seek to gain public support for agency objectives and programs by serving Florida's citizens in a positive andproactive manner and by listening to what the customer wants and striving to meet their needs. When appropriate, employees will explain the reasons foragency actions or decisions while communicating a consistent FWC point of view.

Responsible for following the provisions and requirements in Section 287.057, Florida Statutes.
Work at FWC is cross-functional, meaning duties may cross division/office lines. The Commission expects employees to function across FWC'sorganizational structure by providing their skills and expertise wherever needed through working on teams or as directed.

This position assists the Purchasing Manager with the daily operations of the Purchasing Section and performs the following duties:

Solicitation - Responsible for issuing Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposals, Invitations to Negotiate, and other solicitations, as appropriate. Providesinformation and support to agency staff in the solicitation process. Attend pre-bid conferences and evaluates bids/proposals for responsiveness andresponsibility of vendors making submissions. Applies State Laws, Rules, and Commission Policy in the development and management of the solicitationprocess. Prepares and maintains required solicitation documentation.

Procurement-Responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate processing and/or approval of purchase requisitions in the State's automatedprocurement system, MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP). Reviews for accuracy and compliance with Laws, Rules, and Commission policy. Responsible forserving as the My Florida Market Place (MFMP) Systems Administrator for the Commission.

• Prepare reports and data analysis.
• Assists in the development of documentation, manuals, or procedures related to the Commission's procurement practices.
• Attend training and conferences, as necessary.
• Performs other duties and special projects, as required.

• Knowledge of the principles and practices of purchasing.
• Ability to research and analyze specifications, conditions, and regulations pertaining to bids, contracts, and/or prices.
• Ability to apply and implement rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to the purchasing process.
• Ability to put specifications, conditions, and regulations pertaining to bids, contracts, and/or prices in writing.
• Ability to maintain purchasing records.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking to convey information.
