Government Analyst II
DGS Office of External Affairs
Government Analyst II in the Department of Financial Services, Treasury Division, based in Tallahassee. The role administers and maintains the state's credit card acceptance program, manages contracts with financial institutions and processors, coordinates with participating agencies, and monitors contract compliance. Responsibilities include procuring and renewing credit card and e-Commerce contracts, keeping informed on industry standards, and reporting on payment systems. Key qualifications: Four years of professional accounting experience with the State of Florida, or post-secondary degree in accounting/finance Two or more years of experience dealing with the public and/or other state agencies Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and develop recommendations Ability to manage state contracts and coordinate with multiple stakeholders Knowledge of basic management principles and ability to work independently #J-18808-Ljbffr
