Leading a remote team, the full-time salaried Disability Claims Team Manager will oversee investigations, manage claims, and ensure timely resolutions while aligning with company and client guidelines. Key responsibilities Establishes performance standards, conducts appraisals, and administers corrective actions in line with HR policies Reviews and assigns claims to examiners, ensuring workloads are balanced and productivity is improved Coaches team members on investigations and compliance standards while preparing them for client claim reviews Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required Five or more years of progressive experience as a Claim Examiner with technical expertise in complex cases Previous supervisory experience is desirable Thorough knowledge of insurance coverages and practices Industry designations preferred but not required (IIA, AIC, AEI and/or CPCU)
