Employee Discounts Responsibilities Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor Providing care according to the patient's plan of care Assist patients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Subject matter expert in Fall Prevention and Fall Precaution measures Monitor and document patients health status and report any changes to the nursing team Support mobility and assist with transfers and exercises as directed Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Follow infection control and safety procedures strictly Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance Certified CPR with hands-on training, negative TB test, and a work physical within the year. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Must be able to pass required background checks and screenings Empathy for the needs of the client Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on client mobility.
